2014 Super Bowl to feature Predator Drone demonstration

predator droneThe NFL announced today that they would be expanding the 2014 Super Bowl halftime show to include a predator drone demonstration.

Wanting to spice things up this year and keep viewers tuned in to ensure no commercial or promotion is missed, the CIA will have drone operators in the press box at Super Bowl XLVIII who will fly armed predator drones throughout the halftime show. Set up in various parts of the field will be targets which the drones will bomb in order to demonstrate their effectiveness in securing freedom through surgical strikes.

Concerns have arisen about potential collateral damage or the possibility of hitting something or someone who is not a target, but officials were quick to soothe those fears, dismissing them as irrational.

Citing a surgical strike just weeks ago in Yemen which killed a dozen or so people in a wedding party, NFL officials are certain of the built in safety measures and assure no one will be in any danger during the halftime show. Since 2001, the US has bombed at least eight wedding parties with precision drone strikes, a record which demonstrates the precise capabilities of drone warfare.

Many football fans are excited about the new addition, with some going so far as wanting to see live targets on the field.

Your bringing a war machine to the Superbowl. Does no one else see how wrong this is? God help them if something goes wrong. They are really trying to make these things as innocuous as traffic lights.
